Remember that this piece of coursework is about representation, one of the four main concepts of the course. Can you remember the others? HINT!!! They form the word LIAR.
Task 1. You are the agent/manager/promoter of an artist who is going to be the "next big thing". You are to design a CD/MP3 download image for the artist's debut (first) album. The album must represent the artist's genre of music. The artist's name and the name of the album should also indicate the genre of music you are marking. How the artist is represented should conform with the general conventions we associate with that particular genre. How would a cover for a Goth band differ from a cover for a Hip Hop or a classical music album. Album art including images but also colours are important here.
Task 2. You should have already completed your character profiles for the artist. Now you are going to create a Wikipedia entry for them. Look at the typical information about an artist you would expect to find on this site. Note the conventions of a web page and the way this information is presented to the audience (web-browsers).
